Start with the need in front of you.

You do not have to contact every organization. Choose the resource that most closely matches your situation, confirm current eligibility, and ask a POH coach for help navigating next steps.

1  For immediate danger or a medical emergency, call 911. For a mental-health or suicide crisis, call or text 988.

2  For routine care, begin with a primary-care provider or community health center.

3  If cost or insurance is a barrier, ask about Medicaid, marketplace assistance, sliding fees, and benefit enrollment.
