Are donations tax deductible? CONFIRMED
Yes. Through fiscal sponsor Social Good Fund, contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
How do I donate by check? CONFIRMED
Payable to “Social Good Fund,” memo “The Platform of Hope.” Mail to Attn: Taylor Mitchell, 1640 Columbia Road NW, Washington, DC 20009.
How is my donation used? CONFIRMED
Donations sustain coaching, Family Saturdays, workshops, resource connections, and program operations.
Can my company sponsor a Family Saturday? CONFIRMED
Yes. Companies may contact POH about underwriting catering, childcare, activities, or supplies.
Will I receive a donation receipt? PENDING APPROVAL
Recommended: online donors receive an electronic acknowledgment; contact POH for a duplicate or corrected receipt.
Can my employer match my gift? PENDING APPROVAL
Recommended: check your employer’s matching-gift portal; contact POH if verification of Social Good Fund is needed.
May I restrict my donation to a purpose? PENDING APPROVAL
Recommended: contact POH before a restricted gift; unrestricted gifts give the most flexibility.
Does POH share or sell donor information? PENDING APPROVAL
Recommended: donor information is never sold; shared only as needed to process or legally report a gift.
