Many participating families live in Adams Morgan and Ward 1, but you do not have to live there. Platform of Hope primarily serves families of color and centers each family’s own definition of success.

No. Families from across Washington, DC are welcome.
Does it cost anything to participate?
No. There is no cost for families to participate.
Does Platform of Hope provide financial assistance?
Not primarily. The focus is coaching, goal setting, and resource connections. Small stipends may sometimes recognize progress.
Will I have someone helping me?
Yes. Families work with a coach and participate in Family Saturdays.
